O - Orbit

For today’s letter O, I went with Orbit.

It didn’t take too long to figure out how to make the planets orbit the O, that was a motion path, however, trying to make the lines behind them follow along as well. That proved to be a bigger challenge for some reason.

They ended up having to be grouped in groups to make sure the axis didn’t get thrown off by rotating them. It was a bit of a hassle to figure out how to get them to spin properly, thankful after taking an hour or so to figure out the first one the other two were simply copied and pasted.

So what did I learn on this project? Don’t try and do cute circular motion paths to highlight object rotation, that or never delete this scene and use it as a sourdough starter for all future scenes, just stealing little pieces of it for future projects.
