X - Xray

We’ve now arrived at the last three letters of the alphabet, perhaps the most restrictive in the idea category, and showing me that perhaps the next time I do this, that I won’t try and do each animation based off the letter of that day.

Anyway! Here’s X, so naturally “X-Ray” because, what else could there be? This one was a lot of fun to build, though trying to figure out what should be inside the X was strangely challenging. I didn’t want it to be bones or a skeleton of some sort, otherwise implying that the letters are strange humanoid hybrids creatures, so instead, I went with something more abstract, balls.

I toyed with having them all spin together, or just spin sort of at random, but I rather enjoyed the idea of the balls sort of making the X inside the X. If that makes sense, they’re supposed to look like they’re drawing the two lines that make up the X, and now I feel like I’ve said X way too many times in such a short space, so, I’m going to stop, so you can enjoy
