L - Looping

For today’s letter L, I went with looping. Though it’s really more like looping squared, as it’s making four loops, while the GIF itself is also looping. It’s a classic loop-ception

After yesterday’s GIF I feel like I needed a more simple idea, the kettle was great fun, but it also required a lot more animation styles, and general work than I was expecting, so today I wanted to do something a little calmer, a little more zen in it’s looping effect.

I know I’ve been saying that if I’m not learning something while making these then what’s the point, but if I learned anything from these last two animations, it’s that there’s got to be a middle ground between the animation and portrayal of a real-world object, and the more symbolic, interpretive style.

Now that I know that and have told you about it, please disregard the fact that tomorrow’s animation totally undoes this notion.
