The last day! It’s been quite the journey, it’s also perhaps been the largest project I’ve done in a long time! But breaking it down into daily projects seemed to help me get through it all. It’s safe to say I learned a lot, a couple of dos for next year, and a whole lot more don’ts. But with that all out of the way let’s get into today’s number!
So for today’s number, again, I had a pretty clear idea for what I wanted the GIF to look like from an animation standpoint, it was when it came to the colouring of the GIF that I was hesitant, originally it was planned to be one colour so that the segments wouldn’t be seen and the spin would be more of a surprise.
Which, I was okay with, but after about half a second that surprise is over, and you’ll probably want to be looking at something a little more interesting than just a solid colour number on a white background. (Sorry Day 29.) So I scrapped that plan and went with what I know, colour! and boy does it look so much better! Trust your gut!
